Recertification
- Certification Expiration Date
-Your certification expires on December 31 approximately four years after your original certification or your last recertification if you are certified in General or Neurofeedback. For clinicians certified in Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction Biofeedback, certification is a three-year cycle.
Date to send materials - November 1, to allow staff time to process the materials - postmark on or before November 1 to avoid late fees.
Requirements - Recertification is based on either re-taking and successfully completing the written exam or completing the required continuing education. Note: All continuing education hours must be related to the blueprint, relevant to biofeedback and/or the disorder you may be treating, with the majority of your hours being biofeedback-specific.
Fees - $225 for General or Neurofeedback; $150 for PMDB
License - dont' forget to include a copy of your license with the application.

Lapsed Certification If you have allowed your certification to lapse, you may reinstate at any time by successful completion of the written certification exam or proof of the appropriate continuing education and payment of fees. BCIA wants to simplify this process for you. Please contact us at info@bcia.org to discuss reinstating a lapsed certification.
